If you want to see where John Houston made 'The Night of the Iguana' with Richard Burton, this is the place. It's just 10 km south of Puerto Vallarta. The beach is situated in a subtropical valley and it's clean. There are umbrellas and chairs for rent for 1$. Take care with the currents at low tide.
