jewel in response to sakin's question:
Is it true the sky becomes orange and black when the monarch butterflies arrive in Michoacan??? Lord, how many are they??(give a different answer) .
Yap-yap, I saw that two years ago and my heart stopped for a sec. Every autumn, the butterflies come from US and Canada to spend winter Michoacan, and they seem to prefer the high altitude areas, around 8000 feet. By December fir trees are covered in orange and black, as about 100 millions nest on them. It's like confetti is falling from the ski and you can actually hear their wings beating.
