Me and my wife spent a week in Mazatlan and we stayed at a villa in this resort called Estrella del Mar. It is located about 10 minutes from the airoport, adress: Camino Isla de la Piedra, tel: 982-3300.
We paid for a room -king size bed and ocean view -1180 usd per week. It has a beautiful private beach, a golf club and a restaurant which is not only for golfers. The restaurant is located directly on the beach, openes at 7:00 a.m. and closes at 10:00 pm and you can have there a nice romantic mexican dinner.
On Friday there was a local band that played live music.
